We encourage each Oak Knoll student to become a Reading Olympian and take part in the activities. The Reading Olympians will be organized into competitive teams. Each team will work to collectively read all 30 books between October and February. At the end of February, a tournament among our teams will determine the top four teams that will then compete in our county’s competition at one of the participating middle schools. The winning team of that event will take home the county trophy. At a special Olympian Medal Ceremony, all participants will receive a medal for their accomplishments. Please also see ReadnQuiz for books or to take a quiz.
If you have any questions about the Reading Olympian program, please contact the librarian, Tracy Aitken, via email or phone at (804) 365-4760.
