Oak Knoll Middle School Athletics – Get Ready for an Exciting 2026–2027 School Year!
The Oak Knoll Knights are gearing up for another incredible year of athletics, competition, teamwork, and school spirit! Whether you love the roar of the football crowd, the excitement of the basketball court, the thrill of the track, or the teamwork found in every sport, there is a place for you in Oak Knoll athletics!
Important Athletic Participation Update
All students planning to participate in school sports during the 2026–2027 school year must have the following forms completed and on file before tryouts:
- Official VHSL Sports Physical Form (No immunization documents required to turn in for athletics)
- Concussion Form
- Sudden Cardiac Arrest Form
- Heat-Related Illness Policy Form

VHSL Sports Physical Policy
VHSL sports physicals are valid for 14 months from the date of the exam. Rising 7th and 8th-grade students who completed a VHSL physical last year may still be eligible to participate if their physical remains valid through the tryout period. Please check your expiration date carefully!
Important for Rising 8th Graders
Any 8th grader trying out for a high school sport not offered at Oak Knoll Middle School must submit a current VHSL sports physical.
All required VHSL athletic participation forms must be submitted before students may participate in tryouts or practices.
We have sports information nights before each season. During this time, you may turn in sports physicals, meet coaches, and receive tryout information. Dates to be determined at a later time.

Winter Sports Begin November 12, 2026.
