Hanover County Public Schools is pleased to announce a new learning management system, Schoology (pronounced /skoo-luh-jee/). This new platform has replaced Blackboard and offers a “one stop shop” for accessing student calendars and course materials, as well as engaging with the school community.

Students in grades 3-12 will have access to Schoology beginning on September 4. At this time, we will only require secondary schools to use Schoology. Students will receive login credentials at the beginning of school.

Schoology also offers a parent portal to view students’ assignments and real-time course content. In order to allow teachers and students time to adjust to the new system, parents will receive access codes in October.

We are excited about Schoology’s capabilities as we move forward in our digital learning initiative. It's going to be a great school year!
