8th grade day permission slips went home with students on Tuesday, April 16 along with a parent letter outlining the itinerary and chaperone interest QR code.

The Virginia SOL assessments are given each spring to provide information on individual student achievement with the grade-level curriculum.

Applications for Maggie L. Walker Governor’s School will become available for current eighth grade students on October 9th. Students should see their school counselor to pick up application materials. Applications are due on December 1, 2023.
